I was in Miami for the New Year, and really was unable to blog about resolutions, goals for 2009 etc. I’ve been thinking about that a lot for the past few days and have decided to make public a few of my goals for this year.
The past year was as I mentioned in a previous blog full of both moments that made my heart beam, as well as times when I felt like I was constantly treading water and that at any moment I just might go under. However, my husband, my anchor was always there to throw me a life raft and together we weathered the difficult times we faced. No one really knows about that, and I’m not going to divulge that here but between my husband and I we’ve always had a “us against the world” motto, and so far it’s worked. In a few weeks we’ll be celebrating our eighth year of marriage and that is surely to make my heart beam in this newborn year.
Further develop my craft. Treat it like a true profession, and write everyday as much as I can, even if I think its crap, chances are no one is ever going to see that stuff anyway.
Dance more. Look into taking a few classes, sure I’ll probably be the fattest chica there but who cares!

Nice goals for 2009. I have posted mine too, and I have to say I’m off to a pretty good start on a few.
Good luck with yours.
