I’m having so much fun treating Ellena like a real life doll. Dressing her up and snuggling her. She turned six months old and we had a bit of a photo shoot to celebrate. Here are a few of my favorite shots. I still pinch myself and wonder how blessed I could be to have the chance to mother a baby once more. It feels like she has always been a part of our family and I’m so glad she’s finally here.
This month Ellena began “sniffing” and “huffing and puffing”, she expressed annoyance when she didn’t get her way, or if something she wanted was taken away. She has also began to bounce when we hold her and stand her on her feet. She will pat my shoulder when I puck her up, as if to say, “Thanks Mom, I needed a snuggle.” The biggest milestone she achieved this month, much to my delight, is saying her first word. Which was “Mama”. 
I ordered her onesie from BabyGlitterGlam on Etsy. It was delivered quickly and is exactly what I wanted. Her bloomers and headwrap were gifts I received at my baby shower. Her outfit was completed with the ever adorable baby pink converse.
Nicole Olea’s love language is communication. She does this best using her keyboard as a freelance copywriter and editor. Creative and resilient with high-level experience in social media management, content creation, and eCommerce marketing, Nicole Olea was a professional volunteer, sharing her skills with various non-profit organizations who paid her in hugs. For the last 20 years, she’s lived a quasi-nomadic life, moving across the country and the Atlantic with her active-duty husband and their three kids. She’s awkwardly stumbling toward her goal of becoming a saint. She’s got God-sized dreams and wants you to have them too!
