We’re smack dab in the middle of a two year remote tour. It’s a small world, until the one you love is on the other side of it.
It’s been 1 year, 2 months, 11 days since his first flight took him towards his duty. 10 months, 4 days later he flew home for three short weeks of R & R.
It’s been 3 months, 3 days since I waved good-bye (again).
It’s been 94 days since I’ve seen his face (in person). (Thank God for Skype!)
13 weeks since I kissed him.
2256 hours since I’ve fallen asleep to his lullaby snores.
135,360 minutes since I whispered I love you’s in his ear.
8,121,600 seconds I’ve taken it one moment at a time.
At least 295 days remain in this tour (probably more.)
Who’s counting?
xxoo

Oh, I love this pic! What a beautiful couple you two are… and what a strong relationship you obviously have.
Sigh — I don’t know how you do it!
What a sweet beautiful post. You guys are so cute!! 🙂 I had a long distance relationship with my hubby for 5 years and it really made us stronger today. There’s nothing like love that can withstand absence.
Oh gosh, thank you Courtney. xxoo
I so feel your pain. Hubby’s tour in Iraq I swear time stood still.
What a nice way to express how you feel!
You two are so cute!!!!!
Awwww, so sweet!
It’s both sad and adorable.
((hugs)) please thank him for his service for me. I know it must be hard but I bet the reunions are pretty magical.
Each time my hubs is away for work, I think of how hard it must be for you and other military wives. My heart goes out to you, it really does!
Thank you Jenn, that means a lot. xo
WOW – that is the sweetest post.
Thank you Zippy.
You two are so cute!! ((( HUGS )))
Hope he comes home soon!
((((hugs))))) I don’t know how you do it. Hang in there.
(HUGS) I don’t know how you do it. It really puts it into perspective when you break it down to minutes and hours like that 🙁
Yeah! I try not to think about it! Which of course is not possible! 🙂
awwww I remember when my x served in dessert storm that certainly was 4 yrs I don’t want to relive ever again. Hope he comes home soon.
Thank you to him for serving our country and keeping us safe. Prayers to keep him safe.

I thought I was going to go insane when my husband went to Saudi… for two weeks! I don’t know how you do it!
So sweet. I can’t imagine being apart from my husband for that long. Must be difficult beyond description.
Some days more than others-but you get into your routines and things…
