Creativity and Belief in the Unbelievable

I think if you’re work involves any sort of creativity you really must be open to the possibility or the realm of the un-imaginable and make-believe. I know I am.

Besides…where would our world be with out myths about princes slaying dragons to rescue a princess up in a tower or nightmares that take place on a street named after a tree? Me thinks it would be a fairly dull world without any stories in it.

Play-time Fun with Moon Dough

When Moon Dough first came out a few years ago I quickly scooped up a box and although it was a lot of fun the product left much to be desired. For one thing it was very messy and the dough didn’t stick all that well when it was used in the molds the product often came with.

I recently got the opportunity to sit down with my little guy and try a new and improved moon dough with a brand new formula and was rather pleased with the product. I was so pleased in fact, that I went out and purchased a box as a birthday gift for one of my husband’s little cousins.

Evan and I had a lot of fun testing out the Moon Dough Push N’ Pop Ocean Pals set and what I liked about it is that it came with a little play mat with an ocean scene on it and a place to set the molds in. The product definitely doesn’t dry out as I left this outside over night on a table underneath a covered porch and regardless of how humid it may be here in Miami it is hot and my son was able to resume his play the next day with out any noticeable differences to the product.

What I wasn’t to thrilled about was the fact that this set didn’t come with any container to put the moon dough in when you’re done playing with it. The dough comes in a plastic zip lock type of baggie but I would much prefer there to be some sort of plastic container like play dough comes in to store the stuff.

For the $9.99 suggested retail it’s a good buy for fun craft-time play and does make a nice gift.

Window Shopping Crushes - Mod Cloth Lovelies

I absolutely love ModCloth. I probably drool over their sight at least once a week. I thought I would share a few things that I’m totally smitten with at the moment.I also enjoy reading the fun and names they give all of their products. It’s like nail-polish or lip-stick but for fashion and home decor! What a fun job it must be to sit and come up with all those names!

1.Pride of the Sea Dress 2.Industry Party Heel 3. Time and Lace Dress 4. Fair and Lemon Square Dress
