How to Edit Multiple Pictures At The Same Time On A Mac

The other night a friend on Facebook posed the question about editing multiple pictures at the same time. I shared this “trick” with her and was surprised to learn that not many people were aware that this could even be done.

It is surprisingly simple and saves a ton of time, especially when you have a ton of pictures to resize.

All you need to do is open your pictures in the Preview App

I’ll show you how I recently edited pictures at the same time to share movie stills from The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part II.

How To Edit Multiple Pictures At the Same Time On A Mac (Apple Computer)

1. Go to the folder (use Finder) containing all of your pics you want to resize. If you have your pictures in iPhoto simply export them to your Library.

2. Highlight all of the photos, and double-click to open in Preview, or right-click and choose Open With Preview.

3. Once you’re in Preview (this is the default picture viewer for a Mac) go to Edit and choose Select All.

4. Next go to Tools and select Adjust Size.

5. Next enter the desired size for all of the images.

6. Last go to File and choose Save All.

That’s it! This is unbelievably simple and saves me so much time!

Author Anne Rice Offers Writing Advice

“What makes a writer is writing. Writing to a person like me is in a way a waste of time. You have to sit down and write the book of your dreams.” -Anne Rice
Pretty much on the mark for what most successful authors say, still, I love her positivity and encouragement.love & writing,

Life Through My iPhone [All About Me Sunday]

It’s been a while since I’ve shared my life via my iPhone photos…

Here’s what’s been going on this ninth month of the year!

all about me sunday

1. I really liked this Kirena Zabete dress at Target, mostly because it had a mock pettiskirt, I didn’t buy it because of the exposed zipper down the front, it through me off completely and against my skin it wasn’t very comfortable. I’m keeping an eye on it hoping I can score it on clearance!
2. A pensive moment.
3. My eldest son learned to ride a bike!
4. Getting my butt in shape!
5. My youngest son is a ninja. Shhh don’t tell anyone.
6. I really love my eldest son Michael’s smile these days. It’s so goofy!

The End of Missing Someone #Quote

I came across this quote and it immediately spoke to me, as I am so looking forward to the end of the missing of my beloved.

19 months and counting.

photo: I took it while on a plane back home during my failed attempt to see my husband in August. Sigh.

Wine Makes Everything Better #SingletonParenting

This afternoon my kids really tested my patience. Sassy mouths, whining, and all together mischievous behavior. After I put a stop to that nonsense I opened up a bottle of Pinot Noir and poured myself a few glasses.

Wine my secret weapon for not going off the edge!

To connect with other imperfect Moms who do things like circumcise their sons, formula feed, co-sleep, and yes, dare I say it, drink wine in front of their kid, check out Jen’s link up.
